The wood mold has been used in India to make hand-ironed bricks. The clay is slapped into the mold, it is pressed and shaken, and the brick is turned out so that it can lie in the sun and dry - and the mold is ready for the next brick. All brick shapes are unique in terms of wood type, age and appearance.
